Carl Anthony became sought after at his secondary school for various events co-ordination and for his extensive musical collection and sound and lighting expertise .

The Mobile Disco was Formed in 1980 as a partnership called C&S Connection and secured corporate events and private party bookings around the West Midlands up until the partnership dissolved and The "Carl Anthony Mobile Disco "was formed.

During The 1980's Carl had residencies in some of the top venues in Birmingham such as The Kaliedescope,Le Pub,Edwards No7 and "Faces International nightclub" to name just a few.
